Card messages are wonderful ways to let someone you care about know you are thinking of them and what to write in a card is therefore worth taking the time to make sure you sentiment is conveyed correctly.
Card messages can say anything you want them too. Being a keen card maker most of my time is taken up making the actual card itself which leaves little time to deliberate what to write in a card.
