Begin making this graduation card by folding an A4 sheet of white card-stock in half using a score board. The fold needs to be on the left hand side.
Cut another sheet of card (preferably textured) 100mm x 160mm.
Cut a slit in the middle of the top of the card about 25mm long using a scalpel. Bend the flaps over to create a shirt collar. Do not press the fold down too firmly as this will not look as good.
Place two strips of extra strong double sided tape down the centre of the card.
Then stick two strips of lace ribbon down the centre of the piece of card to form a ruffled shirt effect.
Now cut a strip of card 140mm x 20mm and place five jeweled brads along the strip to look like buttons on the shirt.
Attach the strip in-between the lace ribbon using strong double sided tape or you can push the brads straight through.
Next, create a bow shape from black card and place a black button in the centre. Use double sided tape to hold it in place.
Place the bow on the shirt using double sided tape. Mount the shirt onto black card so it has a 3mm border all the way round the shirt.
Mount the shirt onto silver card and then black, again leaving a 3mm border each time.
To make the graduation certificate, cut a strip of card-stock 60mm x 200mm, and roll it around a pencil to create a scroll shape. Use blue ribbon to hold the scroll together.
Place the shirt onto the folded card using double sided tape. You then need to print you graduation message onto a piece of white card-stock. Alternatively use rubber stamps or stickers. Mount the wording onto silver and then black card and place it above the shirt.
Finally to finish your graduation card, place the scroll in the top left hand corner of the card using strong double sided tape.
