Get Well Soon Mouse Card

get well soon cardGet well soon cards always cheer up someone who isn’t feeling great. This handmade get well soon card is really simple to make and can be used for a male or female of any age.

white cardBegin making this get well soon card by folding a sheet of white cardstock in half 210mm X 210mm. I find the best way to fold card is to use a bone tool.

triangle white cardKeeping the fold on the left hand side cut a triangle shape from the card 210mm x 150mm x 150mm. You can use a paper trimmer or scalpel and metal edge ruler.

house mouse decoupageYou then need to put together your decoupage. I used ‘Just The Two Of Us’ House Mouse decoupage card sheets.
The decoupage is so easy to put together, you simply have to cut each image and place one on top of the other using 3d foam pads.

The House Mouse decoupage pack comes with 2 of each of the 10 different designs so you can select your favorite image for the card.

mat and layeringOnce the decoupage has been put together you will need to mount it onto pink then purple card leaving a 4mm border each time. I chose pink and purple as they match the colours on the decoupage image however, this is down to personal choice and what you have available.

purple ribbonTo finish off your get well card, tie a bow with some purple ribbon and secure it in place with a large sticky dot.

get well soon cardOne of the really good things about the House Mouse decoupage card sheets is you also get some wording with each sheet so I have used the get well soon wording for this particular card.
