Easter Card

handmade easter cardMaking an Easter card is a lot of fun and with just a few craft materials you can produce a handmade but professional looking Easter card.  Making Easter cards is also a good way of getting children invovled in in this lovely pastime.

card for card making Begin making your Easter card by folding a sheet of card in half. You can use a metal edge ruler and scalpel to do this however you will need to take care not to go through the card by pressing down to hard. I personally prefer to use score board and bone tool as this ensures a perfect fold.

easter scrapbook paperCover the front of the Easter card with Easter egg themed paper.

Easter embellishmentSelect an Easter themed picture to be used as a topper on the front. If you do not have a picture you can always use an Easter themed rubber stamp which you can color with gel pens or any coloring medium.

pink organza ribbonFind some organza ribbon that matches the paper in your craft supplies. Place the ribbon on the left hand side and tie a bow near the top.

Happy Easter cardPlace the Easter picture or topper near the top and secure it in place with 3d foam.
