Begin making this card for Mothers Day by using a card folding board to fold a sheet of A4 white card stock in half.
Fold the card leaving the fold at the top.
Using a watering can stamp, stamp the image onto white card using a distress ink pad and cover with distress embossing powder. Heat the embossing powder with a heat tool.
Select a sheet of brown textured scrapbook paper from your craft supplies and cut it 14cm x 20.5cm.
Cut a panel in the bottom left hand corner of the brown card making it slightly smaller than the image you have just stamped and cut out. The hole needs to be big enough to see the image once it is placed behind the hole. I used a metal edge acrylic ruler and scalpel to cut out the hole.
Place your embossed image behind the hole you have just created so that the image can been seen. Use sticky tape to secure the image at the back as this will not be seen.
Next, cut a square of scrapbook paper 1cm thick and place it around the stamped image. I used Diecuts With A View luxury 12 inch by 12 Inch paper stack.
Select some Prima or paper flowers from your craft supplies that match the papers you have used.
Put together different size flowers to make up one large flower and place a brad through the center to hold it all together.
Use a pokey tool to poke a hole in the right hand corner of the card. Use the flowers as a guide where to place the hole and make sure the flowers do not hang over the edge of the card.
Place a strip of double sided craft tape here where you have made the hole to the bottom of the brown card.
Then place a strip of patterned ribbon along the double sided tape folding the ribbon back on its self several times to create small loops.
Attach the large flower to the top of the ribbon by pushing the brad through the hole you made with the pokey tool.
To finish the flower, create two more large loops from the same ribbon and attach them to the base of the flower.
Use a peel of sticker or Mothers day stamp to place your Mothers Day message on the same brown patterned card you have already used. Mat and layer this onto the same scrapbook paper you have used to create the frame around the stamped image.
Position the Mothers Day message above the stamped image using double sided tape.
To finish off this card for Mothers Day attach the whole panel to the front of the card using double sided tape.
