The focal point of this Mothers day card is the house mouse decoupage, this decoupage image is a really cute 3d image that really brings this Mothers day card to life.

One of the main advantages of using a decoupage that comes in a pack is that you will be able to cut and create cute 3d cards featuring your favorite House Mouse characters. Each pack contains twenty 8″x11″sheets. Each sheet contains the components to make a card.

Begin making this Mothers Day card by folding a sheet of A4 white card for card making in half keeping the fold at the top of the card.

The easiest way to make a card fold is to use a score board and bone tool

Cut out your decoupage image using decoupage scissors and put it together using 3D foam pads

If you are using the house mouse decoupage pack, you will already have this circle of matching paper ready to be cut out and attached to the front of your card. Alternatively you can select some decorative paper from your craft supplies and cut the circle using a Fiskars circle cutter

Place the decoupage in the center of the circle using double sided tape.

Use a pair of decorative scissors to cut some of the front of the card away. Cut a strip 2cm in from the right hand side of the front of the card.

Now, place a piece of pink card to the right of your Mothers day card to make the decorative edge stand out. Select a piece of pink ribbon from your craft supplies and attach this between the decoupage and the decorative edge using strong double sided tape.

For the Mothers day message place a peel off mothers day sticker onto a piece of white card and cut it out. If you do not have a peel off sticker you can also use a happy mother’s day rubber stamp.

Mat and layer the Mothers day message onto matching papers and card finishing off with silver mirror card.

Place the wording in the top right corner of the card using 3d foam pads to make it prominent.
