I love the simplicity, colours and design of this girl’s greeting card which any card maker will be able to make.
To make this greeting card for a girl fold an A4 sheet of white card in half, I trimmed the edges so that the card is more square however this is down to personal choice.
Find a suitable rubber stamp in your craft supplies and stamp the image onto white card using black ink. I would recommend using a Stazon ink as this is fast drying.
Colour your image using whatever medium you prefer, paint, gel pens, promarkers, or scrapbook paper,
Mat and layer your image onto two different pieces of card that match the colours on the rubber stamped image. Leave about a 1cm gap around the edge of each piece and use double sided tape to secure it in place.
Place two pieces of card or paper on top of each other leaving a border. These need to be slightly smaller than the actual card.
On the left hand side place another strip of paper, again, use double sided tape to hold it in place.
Place the papers onto the front of the card and position the image as shown above. If you want the image to stand out use 3d foam to secure it in place.
You can add a small bow if desired or any other accessories you may find in your craft supplies.
When making a handmade card that isn’t a standard size so always ensure that you have an envelope that the card will fit into, or you could even have a go at making your own using papers to match the card.
That’s it! A simple but very elegant greeting card for a girl.

I have recently discovered your site. I love it and find the instructions easy to follow. I am not familiar, however, with your terms A1 paper, A4 paper etc. Is this a specific size or shape? Could you include the measurements to be cut perhaps? Regards, Lesllie
