To begin making this Halloween card find a sheet of A4 black card in your card making supplies and fold it in half. I always use a card folder and bone tool for this as it creates a very soft fold and reduces the risk of the card tearing. If you do not have a card folder and bone tool in your craft supplies you can use a scalpel and ruler, but do take care not to press too hard and cut through the card.
Use some letter templates to write the Halloween message ‘boo’. You will need to draw this on the inside of the card so make sure the letters face the correct way before cutting. I have used a pencil to draw around the letters and have tried to make sure they end up in the centre of the card.
Place a sheet of orange card on the reverse side of the front of the card and secure it in place using double sided tape. You will then need to place the middle parts of the ‘O’s and the ‘B’ back in place using double sided tape, sticky dots or whatever dry adhesive you have in your card making supplies.
You may already have Halloween themed embellishments in your craft supplies that you can use. If you want to make your own I have found the quickest way to do this is to print the images you like twice so you can layer them together. I have used pumpkins but you could use whatever images you prefer, witches, ghosts, ghouls, or a mixture of different Halloween themed images.
Place double sided tape between the images and place the matching one on top. This will give you your 3d card embellishments. It is down to personal choice if you want to add more details such as glitter or ribbon.
Randomly place your 3d embellishments across the front of the card using double sided tape. You should now have a fun Halloween card that is perfect for someone as a single greeting card or for Halloween invitations.
