It is quite simple to make and a little bit different and you should be able to make this 21st birthday card from the bits and bonbs you already have in your card making supplies.
I used plain white card stock and folded it in half (please note the picture above is the front of the card once it has been folded). You can use any colour as the front of the card is going to be covered so use up whatever you have lots of in your craft supplies. I then selected two different sheets of paper. One was animal print scrapbook paper and one was denim scrapbook paper.
Next I attached each sheet to half of the front of the card and secured it in place using double sided tape
I then found these sequins in my card making supplies. The sequins are gold and really glitzy.
I used a very strong thin double sided tape to hold the gold sequins in place down the centre of the card.
I wanted to add the words ‘happy birthday’ as my card message so I found these large scrapbook letters and decided I would use them for the first letter of each word.
I wanted the letters to stand out so I used 3D foam to attach them to the front of the card. I placed one letter on each side of the card.
To finish the wording I used sliver peel off stickers.
To finish the card off I needed to make it clear that it was a 21st birthday card so I added large silver peel off numbers.
I like this 21st birthday card idea as it is funky and cool.
