This 3d decoupage card making idea has been made for a birthday however due to the colours used it could easily be adapted for a valentines day or perhaps maybe even an anniversary card.
Put together the 3d decoupage using 3D foam pads. This particular type of decoupage is very easy to put together as it is simply a matter of cutting out the circles and placing them in order on top of one another.
Next find a piece of black card stock and draw around your decoupage with pencil. Use decorative scissors to cut out a larger shape than the 3d decoupage.
Mount the 3d decoupage onto the black card stock so that it has a nice fancy border.
Use the same decorative scissors to cut a long strip of black card stock that is the same height as the front of your card.
You will then need to place a strip of red grosgrain ribbon down the centre of the black card making sure the ribbon fits in the centre and does not obscure the edges of the black card stock.
Simply use large glue dots to secure two bright red buttons at the top of your red ribbon.
Position the black strip of card along the right hand side of the card.
Use black peel off stickers to add the wording ‘happy birthday’ to the card.
You should now have a very simple 3d decoupage homemade card suitable for any dog or animal lovers.
