The decoupage prints I used were an easy numbered step by step decoupage sheet. However you may find printing a similar image several times and making your own decoupage prints will work just as well.
Cut out all your decoupage prints using good scissors and a scalpel for any fiddly parts.
Use 3D foam to join your decoupage prints together. Carefully layering each piece on top of the other.
Find a small piece of blue ribbon and fold it in half.
Use a brad to secure it.
Secure the folded ribbon and another piece of ribbon on the back of the decoupage as shown in the above picture.
Place the decoupage prints onto a larger piece of pink card. Wrap the piece of ribbon around the edges.
Next, place a piece of pink patterned ribbon along the bottom of the card.
Wrap the pink ribbon around your card and secure it in place on the back using scotch tape. Don’t worry if the back of the decoupage looks messy as this will be placed onto your card and will therefore be hidden.
Fold an A4 sheet of hammered card in half to create a C5 size card.
Place the whole topper on the front of the card.
Use pink peel off stickers to add some wording to the card. I have used ‘On your special day’
To change the occasion the card is for simply change the wording on the ribbon.
This card can easily be used as a mother’s day or happy birthday card.
