This handmade happy birthday card was made from a papernation decoupage sheet. I find papernation decoupage sheets are good to work with and the quality of the paper is very good.

Decoupage sheet

Decoupage is the term used when creating a picture from a step by step sheet of paper which you cut out and build up into a 3d image. I find paper nation products are fun and really easy to use.

Decoupage Prints

Begin by cutting out the decoupage prints and build up your 3d pictures in the order suggested.

backing paper

When you purchase papernation decoupage sheets, you can also get backing paper to match. Here I have used the corresponding backing paper, cut a rectangle, rubber stamped and embossed the word ‘Happy Birthday’.

Green Card Stock

I then attached this to the front of the card (I have used green card stock to match the colours).
I then used silver peel offs around the edge to make it stand out.

Add decoupage

I then randomly placed the decoupage images around the card.

Happy Birthday Pop up Card

This handmade card is a pop up card which you can purchase online or in craft stores.

To finish the card off I have covered the inside with another piece of coordinating backing paper.
