Baby Boy Teddy Bear Card

This card is so easy to make and can be repeated using all different designs and themes.

I find it far more cost effective to make my own DL (tall) sized card but newbie's may find buying ready made ones easier to start with.

I used a sizzix machine to cut the bear shape (die) though you could use a peel off or even just a picture from a magazine will do.

I then rummaged through my scrap box for some matching papers and again you can use any paper that matches the picture or theme you have in mind.

The bear was attached to a blue piece of paper using 3D foam pads.  On the reverse side of the blue paper I added further 3D foam pads and was then able to fix the blue paper to the stripy paper creating a topper for my card.  Once this was done I was then able to attach the topper easily to the card using double sided tape.

Using a peel off to frame the topper, in this instance I used a straight line or alternatively you can use something fancier depending on the type of paper you have.

You can use a peel off or rubber stamp to mark the occasion.  As you can see on this card I have used a peel off in the bottom right corner.

To add a nice finishing touch to your card you can wrap a piece of ribbon along the folding edge.

There are various ways you can use to add your own personal message. Here I used a rubber stamp but you could also use a peel off.  Alternatively you can use a computer and print your own message and simply attach this as an insert.
